Request for Cooperation in The Competency Test of Health Workers in Timor Leste with FK Unud University General


On Thursday, August 12, 2021, the Information and Cooperation Management Unit (UPIKS) FK Unud has coordinated a virtual meeting regarding the request for cooperation in the Competency Test for Health Workers in the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Democratic Timor Leste and FK Unud. The purpose of this collaboration is that it is hoped that a team of experts in the field of competency testing of health workers from FK Unud can assist in the development of a health worker competency test system which is planned to be carried out on health professions in the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste which is planned to be held under the Ministry of Health of the Republic Democratic Timor Leste.

Representative of FK's International Affairs Office, dr. Agung Wiwiek Indrayani, S.Ked., M.Kes 5. Education and Cooperation Sub-Coordinator Ni Ketut Dewi Megawati, SH.,MH In this meeting, Mr. Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Dr. dr. I Dewa Made Sukrama, MSi., SpMK(K) welcomes the follow-up to this collaboration because it can improve the reputation of FK Unud internationally in the field of higher education. The existence of this collaboration shows recognition from the international community, especially the Government of Timor Leste towards human resources at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. In addition, this collaboration shows the trust of the Government of Timor Leste in the ability of Udayana University in assisting the development of health development in the country and is also Unud's effort to maintain the cooperative relationship that has been established so far. Previously, quite a lot of students from Timor Leste continued their studies at Udayana University.
In this meeting, Dr. Dr. Desak Made Wihandani, M.Kes as an expert staff who is often involved in the Competency Test for Doctor Health Workers in Indonesia expressed his willingness to assist the Government of Timor Leste to establish a Healthcare Competency Test system in that country. A number of strategies have been submitted and have been understood by both parties. This cooperation meeting is expected to be followed up immediately with the preparation of an MOU and PKS.
