Initiating Collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and the School of Pharmacy, ITB, through the Doctoral Program in Medical Science University General

The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), and the School of Pharmacy, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), have initiated a collaboration through the Doctoral Program in Medical Science. The aim of this collaboration is to strengthen the partnership between the two institutions in the field of medical research and education.

On June 19, 2023, the Dean of the School of Pharmacy, ITB, visited FK Unud to discuss and formalize the collaboration. The meeting took place in the dean's conference room at FK Unud, with the presence of Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, the Dean of FK Unud, and Prof. Apt. I Ketut Adnyana, M.Si., PhD., the Dean of the School of Pharmacy, ITB.

During the meeting, both deans expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate and emphasized the importance of not only educational cooperation but also the commercialization of research findings. They recognized the potential for joint research projects and the development of innovative solutions in the medical and pharmaceutical fields.

In addition to the deans, the meeting was attended by various faculty members and coordinators from both institutions, including Prof. dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, S.Ked, MPH., Ph.D., the Coordinator of Udayana University's Institute for Community Partnership and Empowerment (UPIKS), Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, M.Kes, Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Jawi, M.Kes, Prof. Dr. rer. Nat. Drs. I Made Agus Gelgel Wirasuta, Apt, M.Si, Dr. dr. Dyah Kanya Wati, Sp.A (K), and Dr. dr. Made Ratna Saraswati, Sp.PD, KEMD.FINASIM.

The collaboration between FK Unud and the School of Pharmacy, ITB, through the Doctoral Program in Medical Science, aims to foster joint research endeavors, facilitate knowledge exchange, and contribute to advancements in the field of medicine and pharmacy.
